GP Vacancy

We currently have a vacancy for an enthusiastic and committed GP to join our team in 2020.  We can offer flexible working hours to suit your work/life balance along with the potential for excellent remuneration. 

Our experienced and supportive team of general practitioners offer a wide range of special interests, including:

• Refugee health – we see 50% of newly arrived humanitarian refugees who settle in Launceston
• Palliative and aged care – we provide a dedicated service to Aldersgate Village (Uniting AgeWell Newnham) 2 mornings each week
• Skin Cancer medicine – providing full skin checks and skin lesion removals
• IV services – we have 2 dedicated IV beds where we treat iron deficiency, osteoporosis, dehydration and serious infections

You will be well supported by our experienced teams of nursing and administration staff.

We are located in the northern suburb of Mowbray, with banks, post office, shops, food, supermarkets, pharmacy, pathology and physiotherapy all within easy walking distance of our surgery.
